Instructions:  Volvo Engine pre-filter is not to be used alone without engine filter. Filter is designed for bigger particles to add extend life to engine filter and enhance appearance of truck. Place filter over intake, making sure that it is centered, hold firmly in place and mark for drilling holes. Eight 10 x 1-1/2 stainless steel screws included. Pilot holes should be drilled 3/32nds. You must be careful because you will be drilling on an uneven surface. Once pilot holes are drilled, place filter in housing cover over inlet and fasten with screws. Do not over tighten. Filter should be checked periodically for clogging. Filter can be power washed off lightly.
